The Welcome Party will be held in Waimea, in the heart of Big Island’s upcountry. This laid-back evening is all about comfort, warmth and connection. Think casually elevated—refined without being dressy.
Women might opt for relaxed, midi or maxi dresses, flowy skirts, refined separates or soft denim paired with boots, flats, or sandals. For Men, relaxed button-downs, lightweight sweaters, or casual jackets with trousers or nice jeans.
And a friendly reminder: it gets cool up here at night. Don’t forget a warm layer for later in the evening—you’ll be glad you have it once the sun dips behind the hills!

Our wedding will take place at a ranch in Hawaii, with most of the celebration happening outdoors under the stars. The setting is rustic, naturally beautiful and some areas of the terrain are uneven. We recommend skipping the high heels. Cowboy boots, flats or a block heel are encouraged and will suit the setting perfectly.
Think of the attire as Dressy Ranch...elevated, but not formal. For example, flowy dresses or skirts paired with boots or block heels for women; and button-downs, jackets, or lightweight suits (ties optional!) for men.
Even in paradise, the evening air can get chilly, so please bring a warm layer like a jacket or a wrap to keep warm once the sun goes down.
